With each item we sell, we donate a scarf or blanket made of recycled polar fleece to a member of your local community who is homeless or in transition. This act of giving requires no additional purchase…just responsible, ethical consumerism.

Another reason to buy from hiroko kurihara designs is that our creations are high quality, uniquely designed and handcrafted in our Oakland and Berkeley California studios from the finest European, virgin wool that is EU ecologically certified. We guarantee our crafts(wo)manship and believe in local non-sweatshop manufacturing.
